The Maddison Safety & Industrial Supplies story began over 30 years, ago in the City of Lake Macquarie. Keith Maddison began trading in a shared rental premises at Warners Bay with himself and one other employee.
The Company then relocated to Gateshead where we established a manufacturing section, and gradually employed additional staff. Extensive growth and expansion saw us outgrow the premises at Gateshead and in August 2006 we moved the business to our current position in Cardiff.
We service the Hunter Valley, North West and Central Western NSW. The business has also continued to expand in Newcastle with an extension on our building at Cardiff which has doubled in size. This now enables us to have a designated area for receiving and dispatching goods to align with our Quality Standards.
Maddison Safety & Industrial Supplies now employs 18 staff and we provide a happy, friendly and safe work environment for all our employees. We are proud to be 100% Australian owned and operated company.
At Maddison Safety & Industrial Supplies, we are all very proud of the reputation we uphold in the Hunter, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle region, from humble beginnings 30 years ago. Our markets have expanded and we now service accounts in most states of Australia and process regular orders from International Markets.

Our Account Managers and support staff are trained to provide their customers with knowledge and initiate continuous improvement and innovative ideas to create safer working environments for all our customers businesses.
