Legends of League Golf Day - A Huge Success!
Last Friday, we had the privilege of hosting the Legends of League Golf Day, and what an incredible day it was! With clear skies and plenty of summer heat, participants showed up ready for a day of friendly competition, laughs, and legendary moments at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley.
The day kicked off bright and early at Maddison Safety’s Cardiff branch, where guests were treated to bacon and egg rolls before boarding the bus.
Once we arrived at the picturesque Hunter Valley course, the competition began with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. With 8 teams of 4 players, the level of skill and sportsmanship on display was outstanding. Congratulations to all our winners – you certainly earned those bragging rights!
At the heart of the day were our special guest speakers, league legends Michael Hagan, Kurt Gidley, and Tim Brasher, who joined us for a round-table panel discussion after lunch. Their stories, insight, and humour were a highlight for many and added something truly special to the event.
The Lovedale Bar & Grill beer garden proved to be the perfect spot for everyone to unwind, enjoy a delicious smoky BBQ lunch, and reflect on the day’s fun. It was fantastic to see so many participants having a great time in such a relaxed setting.

Looking Ahead to 2025
We are excited to announce that Fairway Connect Golf Days will continue in 2025! These events will be held on the second Friday of every second month, starting on Friday, 14th February 2025. If you are interested in participating, please reach out, and we will send you an information pack.
